Our Goals Are To:
01
Create events for alumni and community that specifically raise funds to provide financial sustainability to SOUL Student Lead Chapters and for LGBTQIA+ activities on HBCU Campuses for current students.
02
Offer educational training, leadership development, networking, and mentorship opportunities to LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff where appropriate.
03
Use our shared resources to combat heterosexism, genderism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, racism, and all other prejudices directed at LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff on HBCU campuses and in their surrounding communities.
With your support, we can work towards building an inclusive environment on
campus and in the community that celebrates diversity, promotes equity,
and encourages growth. Together, we have the ability to create a
safe space where HBCU students, alumni, faculty, and staff who identify
as LGBTQIA+ can connect and be supported by each other.
